Some dogs don't settle. They pace, they circle, they end up pressed against a wall or wedged behind the sofa. That instinct is worth listening to — it's the same one that makes a puppy burrow into the litter. They're looking for edges.
This bed gives them edges. A deep, sunken middle and a tall bolster rim that runs the whole way round, so there's always something to lean into and somewhere to rest a chin. Dogs and cats who curl tight tend to drop off faster in one of these than they do on a flat mat.
This is the one thing worth two minutes of your time. Measure your pet nose-to-tail while they're curled up, then add about four inches so they aren't pressed against the rim.
If you're between sizes, go up. A bed that's slightly too big still works; one that's too small doesn't.
It arrives compressed, and it will look flat. Shake it out firmly, then give it a day or two — the filling keeps expanding and it looks its fluffiest by about day two. This is normal and it isn't a fault. Sitting it in the sun for an hour now and then keeps it fresh between washes.
Suitable for both dogs and cats.
Every Huddlepaw product starts with the same question: how does this actually feel to the animal using it? Calm, comfortable pets — dogs and cats alike.
