Huddlepaw Back Seat Extender — Hard-Bottom Car Platform for Dogs

The back seat of a car is a bad shape for a dog. There's a canyon where the footwell is, the seat slopes, and every time you brake they slide forward into it. Most dogs spend the journey bracing instead of resting — and the ones who give up and lie in the footwell get stiff and carsick.

This fills the gap. Eight rigid boards sit under the fabric and bridge the footwell, turning the back seat into one flat platform the whole width of the car. Your dog can actually lie down and stay lying down.

Which size

Measure your back seat door-to-door before ordering.

• L — 62" × 52" · cars, mid-size SUVs, small trucks. The size most people need.
• XL · full-size crew cab trucks (F-150, Silverado, RAM 1500) and large three-row SUVs.

Under 55 inches across, choose L. Over that, choose XL.

One thing it doesn't do

There's no seat belt pass-through. The platform covers the buckles, so your dog can't be clipped into a harness restraint while using it. If you belt your dog in on every journey, this isn't the right product for you and we'd rather say so before you order than after.
